r. pinskyr. pinskyFamed Poet Laureate, Robert Pinsky, will read from and discuss his poetry and the craft of poetry on October 1st from 7pm to 8:30pm. Free tickets for this event can be picked up at the Library or Books & More. There is limited seating for this free event so please pick up your tickets soon. Robert Pinsky is an American poet, essayist, literary critic, and translator. From 1997 – 2000, he served as Poet Laureate Consultant in Poetry to the Library of Congress. Pinsky is the author of nineteen books, most of which are collections of his own poetry. His published work also includes critically acclaimed translations, including a collection of poems by Czeslaw Milosz and Dante Alighieri.
