Rogers has published over 250 short stories in multiple genres including fantasy, horror, literary, mystery, personal essays, romance, and science fiction. His work has been included in numerous anthologies, including the Best American Mystery Stories of 2004. He has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. In 2006, he received a Derringer award for his story, “Zipped.”
